Is a strange position... Valentin Albillo presents this position in your page (2003 aprox) ... Stockfish see mate in 12 in few seconds. But really not understand why Lc0 not.... In the past this problem was a nightmare for the majority of engines , but in 2019 with networks engines... :? :? :? Thank...

ChessGenius3 is a 1994 chess program. Fritz2.00 in 1992 already won multiple times against Kasparov at Koln Germany.
Blitz games... only 5m /all game. Until version Fritz5, Genius was always stronger than Fritz.

Other common razon was in 80s & 90s the engines plays weak in direct King attacks... for example this game.
