There are lots of ways for a user to produce erroneous test results.
The first thing I see is your use of the stock Fritz opening book. There are lots of tuning parameters for the book use and the defaults have historically been bad for testing engine vs engine.

Chess variant idea

This adds more "_____" to chess.
How about introducing a doubling cube as in backgammon. Every 10 moves, you have the option of doubling the bet. If the money gets too high for you, you back out and lose the game.

Don't expect any human comments, though (other than from the participants). That is what I find sad, as I see that as a way to get to know the developers of these fine engines by way of interviews along with IM and GM commentary and insight into the finer points of the games as well as how computer...
