Re: Learn by playing, NOT by letting and engine to figure it out.
Here try to Win with White to move, please do NOT use any engine to help you, it is better if you get an engine close to your rating and try to win with White, it is the best way to learn NOT by setting the endgame TB and let the engine fig out for you k7/8/1K1N4/7p/7N/8/8/8 w - - 0 1 The Next posi...

Re: Et Mortuus Est Rex
Hi So RomiChess P3n .... I happen to be in good terms of friendship with the author of this great chess engine but I think that it's also a little bit overrated in the rating list .... In the first game with me playing the black pieces,we reached a dangerous open position where Romi kept pushing the...

Jonesy 1.0 is a fine chess engine but my impression is that it plays rather calm positional chess thus lacking the tactical power fire .... Take a look at the games to build an impression of what I am talking about .... Standing...

Re: Clericus/Hopeless ported to Lazarus
To get a sense of its strength, I had Hopeless 0.49.0.4 play 10 games each against AdaChess 3.6 and MadChess 2.2 at 2'+6"" and it had 4 wins and 4 ties against AdaChess but it lost all of the other games on time forfeit. Too bad too as it can hold its own against MadChess in a few games until it fo...
