SCID 4.7 engine ratings

Hello does anyone have a spellcheck file that has elo ratings for the current top engines?
If not,is there any easy way to enter elo ratings for an engine manually where it will show up for each game?
Thanks in advance,
Gerald

Which engines play the most human like at lower levels?

Hello I'm looking for engines that play around 1800-2200 ELO and are not "dumbed down" by making obvious poor moves. Thanks in advance,
Gerald

Re: Komodo 13 released

Hello Larry, I just downloaded both version 64 and 32. Win 64 seems to work fine on my machine, but Win 32 has an issue in my older laptop running windows 7. The engine does not seem to start or show any analysis in both GUIs I loaded it in (SCID and Deep Shredder 13). Maybe someone else has this is...

Thanks for this great SCID update.
Is there any chance that there is an updated rating list somewhere?

Best version of SCID for windows 7 32 bit

Hello I have had to reinstall my operating system and would like to know the most recommended version of SCID for database management. I am not interesting in running engine-engine matches.
Many thanks in advance,

Error message using ChessGui

I've just installed ChessGui on my Windows Vista laptop and upon starting I get this message:

"The procedure entry point K32numProcessModules could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.DLL"

Is this something I can fix?

Many thanks in advance,
Gerald

DGT sensory boards, any experience?

Hello, I am thinking of buying a DGT board and clock to play against some of my programs. Laptop is a 64-bit quad-core running windows 7. I have all the standard GUIs, but was intending to use Shredder 13 with the board. I am interested in going with the Bluetooth DGT setup, just wondering if anyone...

Question for SCID users

Hello I use SCID for a lot of things, but I am just now trying to enter a new game manually. I don't see off hand how to put in the game information, players names, location, etc.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Komodo 10.4 released

Hello Larry, thanks for the new Komodo release. In your opinion, what are the top 3 current chess engines with contrasting styles? This would be useful information for game analysis to get different "points of view".
Thanks,
Gerald
