Hi, Sometimes when I'm analysing a position with Stockfish, the evaluation can vary quite significantly while stepping into the PV. Of course, I don't expect the eval to stay the same since afterall Stockfish may then be searching the subposition to a different depth, etc. However, my question is, d...

While I agree with you these situations are very rare and works both ways. Adjudication massively speeds up the process of testing, and if only 1% of the games produce wrong results it's still worth to adjudicate. Speed vs accuracy. Try 10101, it has set several records in Aloril's sheet. I don't know, at short time control ID10104 is 20 Elo points weaker than ID10086 (within error margins), and on testsuites is weaker on longer time control (10s/position) WAC200 tactical: ID10086: 126/200 ID10104: 116/200 Openings200 position...
