Re: CCRL scaling versus human player

There is a website that has the Elo of the chess machines of the 80s-90s. These machines participated more in tournaments with humans than the current engines and hence it is assumed that this list has some Elo that are similar to Elo FIDE. The old SDDF lists also seem to have the most approximate E...

Re: Chess for Android: UCI engine options

When a program crashes, is there a logfile of any kind available in chess-for-android? E.g. with uci logging. Yes, if the engine has a log-to-file option, you can simply set that. Make sure to write the log file to a path where you can access it later. I tried writing in the root of the sd-card but...

Re: android build

I've recently moved from sourcery codebench to NDK. The main problem I had with codebench sourcery is that it is no longer free and I do not know if it is being continued. On the other hand, the executable I did does not work on android 8 on a tablet huwai mediapad t5. With codebench sourcery I alwa...

Version 9.1.0 seems to create slow executables. Version 8.3.0 was better (almost as 4.9.2) benchmark mate in 7 gcc 4.9.2 # Time: 44141 ms # Nodes: 21023045 # # Best Nodes per second: 480011 (Score: 0.637) gcc 9.1.0 # Time: 48328 ms # Nodes: 21023045 # # Best Nodes per second: 435431 (Score: 0.578)

Re: LC0 Android RR Tourney 2019..LC0 Disaster

I do not know details of your games like the time control or the network used. I did the test with a 48x5 network, 8 CPUS, and approximately I see about 500 nps on average. With a time control of 1 second per move I confronted it to Danasah 7.9 and lost 10-0, showing an ELO of perhaps 2000 ELO point...

Re: New engine releases 2019

DanaSah 7.9, the version that will play the 74th Amateur Series Division 6.

Corrected a bug in the SEE function and a small simplification of the evaluation. I do not expect much ELO, between 15 and 30.

Re: Zentropy GUI

Where is the link for the download? I do not see it. Thank you

Ok, I think it's on the bin folder, but I do not think there's an extended download with the engines.

Re: New engine releases 2019

At the moment I will stop working on Caligula, if there is a new version it will be 1.0 The next version will be from DanaSah. It's good to hear you haven't abandoned Danasah, which I was afraid of. What's the main difference between the engines, besides Caligula being WB only? DanaSah is more comp...

Re: New engine releases 2019

Caligula 0.9f: https://pedrox.wixsite.com/caligula/download I decided to remove the 0.9f version and publish directly the 0.9g version that is stronger. The link says 0.9g but the file is 0.9f. When are you going to release 0.9h? At the moment I will stop working on Caligula, if there is a new vers...
