man vs machine events are so rare now specially with top players that I wouldn't be critic of any format. Excellent news. Thanks for the initiative!

Re: World Chess Computer Champion?
The solution is obvious: All LK has to do is edit the text and case slightly, perhaps by simply moving the same words around a bit: Komodo won the 2013 TCEC tournament chess engine tournament ahead of all of the world's strongest programs, including Houdini, Stockfish and Rybka. Komodo is now regar...

Do you have to be an "Organisation" to have any credibility ? Again a straw man. Let call it what it is. TCEC is not a org...

Re: Which are the chess engines written from scratch ?
Hello again to all, Latest 3-5 days I tried testing the scratch engines under Fritz/ShredderClassic GUIs And to be honest, I am very disappointing...Some of the scratched engines are started to loose on time...not sure why ?! I tried to solve the problem with 3min+1sec.... of course not all engines...

Re: Touchy issue, but we have to talk about it...
I am an old guy. I don't do anything on my phone but make phone calls. And I'm not so attached to talkchess that I have to have it everywhere I go. Sorry, but that is just not a problem I have. --Jon This is the sort of comment that very much reminds my grandpa's usual saying: "When I was of your a...
