It's the convenience. The younger players today are so used playing online.
You can buy a chess board separately. It is a much cheaper alternative. Chess computers are beautiful. But you need to spend more money.

Even Carlsen admits getting "depressed" after playing such silicon monsters. And now we have one in the forum that can beat such monsters. But I think if he uses my computer, he will be crushed.
