I change my prediction to 4-1 for Stockfish. 3 wins and 2 draws. :) :) :D
Come on, Damir, correct that also...
To win the match, Stockfish needs at least 4.5 :)

So, is it 3 wins and 3 draws, or 4 wins and 2 draws ?...

Stockfish will win 6:2. Lc0 does not stand a chance :) :) :D
Wow, putting it in writing and immortalizing it! We will see. :D
No need to see...
6:2 score is impossible with the current TCEC Cup rules ! :P

Re: What got you into computer chess?

At the end of the 70's I assembled a Nascom computer (Z80) mostly to be able to run the Sargon program on it !

Later I very actively followed Chrilly Donninger's efforts to be able to play automatic games between 2 computers (linked by RS-232 serial cable).

Those were fun days !!!

Re: Chess.com 2018 Bonus games

Houdini does exactly what Erin showed above. It reverts to the usual start position and treats the Qs as Rs. It will only crash when one of those Qs act different than a R. Yes Guenther, you are totally right ! But I found 1 exception... :) Look at game 36 Houdini-Lc0 where Houdini refuses to play ...

Re: Chess.com 2018 Bonus games

When you give the "knightmare" or queens in the corner position to Houdini, it returns: Invalid position: Too many white knights Reverting to starting position or Invalid position: Too many white queens Reverting to starting position respectively. But then Houdini should return that on his FIRST mo...

Re: Chess.com 2018 Bonus games

Someone knows more about this ? Those Bonus games seem to be of dubious value... For the 3Q vs 3Q games, Houdini is unable to play : stops (?) after a few moves, then why not stop on 1st move ? Lc0 plays badly, but that is not to be unexpected... Now the 7N vs 0(zero)N series has just begun, same i...

Re: Asmfish further development

Besides, the new development only includes 4 patches from May 14 to June 11 (SF_dev has many more for that month interval...).
With the result that this latest asmfish corresponds to no SF_dev version (and its bench number cannot be matched).
