Re: Stockfish 13 depth 16 rating estimate

What would be the estimated rating of Stockfish 13 at fixed depth 16 playing against the players in the Meltwater Chess Tour at a time control of 15 minutes + 10 seconds increment? I believe it will play at a GM level in the opening and middle game. Fixed depth is hard to estimate since fixed depth...

Re: larger nets for SF?

hmmm... I see a difference in style of play and FRC was certainly better, but Elo gain from doubling? - from whatever possible gain was obtained, it does not appear to be worth the extra 20MB of space to store... just my $.02 .. I do like the fact that Albert tried something new and maybe he is on ...

Re: Honey 13.1 is around the corner ...

Sorry but if you only wants simple mate position to be solved without EGTB, then where is the challenge :?: I can give you a very simple position with White to mate in 50, but most Engines rated 3000 and above would be able to solve it, like this position  <SNIP> But the problem is that I hav...

Doing Final Testing at roughly 2 min + 1 ( just to make sure no thing is really out of wack, closed the watcher program by accident , so there will be no live updates, but you can grab the games if you wish from dropbox -> https://www.dropbox.com/s/022ilbv3btk3ri8/04150050.pgn?dl=0 - 2700 games are...

Re: larger nets for SF?

It appears that my point was missed entirely. If you examine the Elo of the LC0 nets, the larger the net, the larger the Elo. And it isn't close. The big nets CLOBBER the smaller ones. I think that bigger and bigger nets should be constructed until it is no longer true. Similarly with SF. Yes, Albe...

Re: Honey 13.1 is around the corner ...

Great news.... Can you provide more info about the network nn-811243cea2cf.nnue ? Note: What follows is a 60 second elevator speech , it may not be precisely accurate, but it is in plain language that I hope someone that is not familiar with the process will be able to digest. The weights of a neur...
