Site problems

Not only that but I have not seen any new post here for two days now. Is something wrong with the site? Would someone please a...

Even the last few post were or did not convey anything worth reading about. Have all your intellectional functions stopped working? How about some on...

Re: Question for H.G. Muller
I don't know how fast his computer is but if he is goning to run very fast time controlls it might be advisab le to make sure that pondering is turned off as this might severely limit the time factor in a negative way.

Re: Biased moderators
Robert Hyatt comes to mind. He is very biased concerning Vas and Rybka. He is totally oblivious that some recent clones are strongly suspect. How in heck could all of these free programs come out almost at once and so strong. I expect Robert Hyatt will run for moderator. I am total against this. Bt...

I am supprised that Steve B. was not nominated to run the thing, I mean after all he owns more chess computers than almost anyone in the world.

Re: Have we hit a wall on chess software after Rybka 4 came
You think that we hit a wall? Let me ask you who was number one before Rybka, number two? As long as there are chess programmers there will be the possibliity of someone improving the game. In my opinion only when chess has been somewhat solbed will we come close to a wall. Every time someone create...

Help with a tournement
I have quite a few chess programs written in Basic and I would like to run a tournement with them. I plan to use Arena but what I need to know is how to pause the games, save them and continue on another day. The programs are of the length of one ply to seven plys and will take more hours in a day t...

Did any of the ratings change after the tournement? Just currious. I have acouple of chess engines that would have fit right into your tournements.
