Re: Lc0 smashes Cfish-dev

Are you sure that isn't SF NNUE? Never in a million years would I imagine an endgame by Lc0 like that even with MLH

Re: StockFiNN Release and Scaling

It is no better than Stockfish And SF doesn't seem superior to it either. That alone makes it speciall. It is no better LCZero Same reason as above. and it is slightly losing to Alliestien Wow.. such large sample size to agree with you. I guess Allie is better than Leela ans Sf based on what's goin...

Re: StockFiNN Release and Scaling

People wouldn't think twice of buying a coffee a day (which in US may cost more than 3$) yet will find hundred different reasons to not pay for the cost of a service someone is willing to provide at less than a coffee price. (Per month!) Whatever fits your boat. Personally I wouldn't mind if SF went...

Re: StockFiNN Release and Scaling

Honestly I thought it would do worse in 8 threads compared to your single core test as I as usual expected SF to scale much better. So I'm really surprised it went the other way around. Might test at higher times next time with double the cores to see if that holds true for even higher cores.

Re: StockFiNN Release and Scaling

Just finished the test of 100 games at TC 3+3 between StockfiNN vs Stockfish Dev on 8 cores. Re: StockFiNN Release and Scaling

The second game is a standard book line (book trap might be a better term) known to favor White with the queen sac. SFNN evaluates it properly, while normal SF wrongly thinks it is about equal. Yes I have seen that trap before, but in all my tests with that line SF fails to convert it as white. It ...

Re: StockFiNN Release and Scaling

Watch these two amazing SFNN games vs SF Dev.. Two masterpieces in succession. In the first SFNN wins as black in a Benko opening that heavily biases white. Somewhere midgame SF fell on a seeming shuffling mode showing an evaluation 0.00, but SFNN immediately spotted an advantage, while SF Dev reali...

Re: StockFiNN Release and Scaling

I am running a 100 game match between StockfiNN and SF Dev on 8 threads at TC 3m+3s, and your net so far looks fantastic. After watching first 6 games (SFNN leads by 1) it doesn't look like it is weaker at all. This amazing game in particular SFNN was making some great positional choices contrary to...
