Re: New engine releases 2019

RubiChess 1.6 is released and can be downloaded here: https://github.com/Matthies/RubiChess/releases/latest Regards, Andreas Andreas - How much stronger is 1.6 compared with 1.5 in your personal tests? CCRL 40/4 tests are ongoing. So far this version is showing around 70 elo increase, but it's just...

Re: Looking for TT policy advice

xr_a_y , I cannot really answer yes to that question ... It may indeed be the case. Are you thinking of a particular parameter ? I thought TT was a good candidate because with the used replacement scheme. I think instead of spending significant time on some idea it may be worth rechecking it: if you...

Re: Looking for TT policy advice

Vivien,

Re: Igel 1.9.0 64-bit 4CPU Gauntlet for CCRL 40/40

Thanks Graham. Good improvement over 1.4.1 4CPU, but due to horrible bug I introduced in 1.9.0 the rating is probably around 100 elo away from the real one :(

But I am trying to be cautiously optimistic here, because usually Igel does well in my testing, but performs poorly in C...

Re: Looking for TT policy advice

Hello xr_a_y, Minic is performing quite well at short TC using a 1024Mb TT. For example, better than Igel, Topple or Asymptote, really near Winter and Zurichess. Minic is using a 2 buckets (always replace, replace by depth) TT. Check out latest Igel 1.9.2, I think I fixed a couple of serious bugs an...
