What are chances to play in superfinal? I think something like SF 98% Houdini 55% Komodo 45% and Fire 2%.

First half of Premier Division is completed now. Stockfish is still in the lead and Houdini is two points behind. Komodo is only one point below Houdini. But Komodo has lost to Houdini once again. There is still a slim chance for him to reach superfinal because I think it might be slighty better than Houdini now against weaker engine, at least in TCEC condition.

K has +4 against the two 'inferior' engines in this group. The worst plus score against weaker engines of the whole pack. Same as Andscacs at the time of writing but with the latter still one more game to play.

I would like to see 4 then 2.
The differences look significant until you look at the head to head results, which are extremely close. It may be that (for instance) the SF tweaking of contempt allows for far less cautious play against much weaker engines giving more points. But this may or may not lead to better play against the top engines (only Houdini has no losses). Against the high-end competition, K and SF have similar records. The no losses for H is likely just a probability anomaly. Not enough games to make an accurate statement.
I get the perception that Fire is not as strong against the top 3 but there are not really enough games for that. Too bad Shredder won't play.

Two is fine, lets not kid ourselves. There are two top engines...then Komodo...then the rest.

I'm a long time buyer of Komodo; when I ask myself if a 4 engine final just to get Komodo in would add anything? I have to answer, no.
