I think that it may be interesting to have an interface that allow take back (when you not only take back the move but also the time you used for every takeback).
It may also be interesting to have engines that can play this game and decide to take back moves during a game if they are allowed to make them.
Now the question can be what is the value of being allowed to do n take backs in rating points.
It can be tested in engine-engine games if people build some interface and engines that support the take back idea.
Take back move and time means that if after 1.e4 e6 2.d4 black decide to take back 1...e6 both programs get back the time they used for 1...e6 and 2.d4 and continue(in case of fischer time control they also lose the increment that they got by the take back).
Black does not get back the time that black used after 2.d4 before black decided to take back 1...e6 if black decide to take back moves.

Depends on the kind of usual errors committed when taking back:Uri Blass wrote:I think that it may be interesting to have an interface that allow take back (when you not only take back the move but also the time you used for every takeback).
