Btw., here my first draw and my first win in a handicap over brand new SF 9.
I don't know why I am posting this here, might have something to do with the concepts in my book, probably I am simply too in a hurry.

I did not play many games, so mostly draws.
When will I win my first game over SF 9?
Well, probably in the summer, when I have more time to play at will.

You can also give presentations about your book on chess clubs or tournaments.

First start with small audiences.

Then maybe you will become a chess teacher.

Nimzowich gave lectures too.

There would also be another idea: giving skype lessons to individuals or small groups. Basic, intermediate and advanced courses. The book could be part of an advanced course. But if you want immediate income you need to address a large audience. Type "Chess course for € 2 an hour!" Then they are grouped in classes of 5-10 people and each class is dedicated 2 hours per week. They would be € 10 to € 20 an hour.

We should not think of anything too advanced for these courses. The goal is to reach a level of play that is barely acceptable after 20 hours of classes, and then organize a debut tournament.

For those who want to improve you can organize targeted lessons, € 10-15 an hour, and at some point the book could come into play.

A good promotional action can be to do mini courses in primary schools, free. An hour a week, for a couple of months. Then the parents who are interested could enroll the children to a basic skype course, for a fee.

If you enter the tour and you make a name then it becomes easier to even advertise the book in the chess clubs and during tournaments.

I remember when I was about seventeen years old I bought the book "Play the St George" written by Michael Basman. Mainly because I liked the cover and Karpov lost a game against that defense. Cost say 30 euro.

Ahhh, old good times... No money but a dream to become a champion. It's a lot different now. No money and no dreams!

I was thinking about becoming a chess programmer, but this niche seems already taken by the programmers of Skipper and other engines.

Imagine an autocracy, where my book would be part of the mandatory education. :)

Big mistake.
You should have skipped on that one, to buy all of my books now for the same price.

The bad thing is, I still have not been able to beat latest SF, I have played just few games, but it always saves itself in a fortress, from where it is difficult to smoke it out:

Right, a lot of presentations, a lot of attention.
I should do a round trip of Holland once.

No need.

Just create a YouTube channel where you demonstrate how to draw with or beat Stockfish and you'll have GMs lining up with questions.

This type of thing needs irrefutable proof, and a video demonstration is a very convincing way to show something to people far away.
