Post by Damir »

DeepLearningToga1.5.21a.tar: http://www64.zippyshare.com/v/RbG65V0e/file.html

TheMadPrune-1.1.12.tar: http://www42.zippyshare.com/v/QOVJcSo7/file.html

TheMadPrune-1.1.21.tar: http://www42.zippyshare.com/v/20no1LIX/file.html

TheMadPrune-1.1.25.tar: http://www42.zippyshare.com/v/MawQvXI1/file.html

But unfortunately only the sources.

Can anyone here compile these versions into a working exe ? :) :)

You could try this one here:

https://www.sendspace.com/file/r3ci88

I had to slightly modify the sources in order to compile it for Windows targets.

Unfortunately it does not work perfectly.

I tried the first 2 fens mentioned here https://github.com/official-stockfish/S ... /pull/1338

and the Windows version crashes. :(

I don't have time to track it down.

I hope somebody here can find out what the problem is. I have not tried and load the engine yet in Fritz GUI. But I trust your word.

The engine seems to run normal games alright.

I tried DeepLearningToga 1.5.21a vs my latest development Toga version on 200 games at a superfast TC, and then repeated (same openings) to see if the learning had a significant effect.

First test:

1. TogaIIMaster1412171CPU 148.5/200 119-22-59 (L: m=13 t=0 i=0 a=9) (D: r=44 i=7 f=6 s=0 a=2) (tpm=60.4 d=9.95 nps=0)
2. DeepLearningToga1521a4CPU 51.5/200 22-119-59 (L: m=52 t=1 i=0 a=66) (D: r=44 i=7 f=6 s=0 a=2) (tpm=56.5 d=8.52 nps=0)

Second test:

1. TogaIIMaster141217 145.0/200 119-29-52 (L: m=21 t=0 i=0 a=8) (D: r=32 i=10 f=6 s=1 a=3) (tpm=59.6 d=10.02 nps=0)
2. DeepLearningToga1521a 55.0/200 29-119-52 (L: m=58 t=0 i=0 a=61) (D: r=32 i=10 f=6 s=1 a=3) (tpm=55.1 d=8.69 nps=0)

So maybe it helped a little, but the error margin is too high to say much. many more games would be needed.

P.S. Anyone interested in the latest Toga II development version is welcome to pm me for a copy.

That's not the latest version of DeepLearninToga. Jim Ablett compiles for more recent versions are here:

http://kirr.homeunix.org/chess/engines/ ... 2/ARCHIVE/

Also, the most recent version of The Mad Prune that I have is 1.7.11. Denis Mendoza compile and source:
