Shredder 4 Millenium Chess System CD-ROM (WM-Paket 2000)

Post by Norbert Raimund Leisner »

Hello,

I used the version of Daemon Tools 5 https://www.daemon-tools.cc/products/compare and selected the feature grap a disc (ISO-format) of the CD-ROMs Genius 6.5 and Shredder 1/2/3 normally.

But Shredder 4 MCS data carrier could not been finished or copied because it is obviously damaged or scratched. By the way: the original setup-procedure from Novenber 4th 1999 contains during running on Windows 7 (e.g. in contrast to win98) a dialog that not enough space on the harddisk would be available. Therefore I obtained a mcs-bugfix-setup from the former author, SMK, some years ago.

Can anyone of you create an ISO-file of Shredder 4 MCS CD-ROM and host it on Google Drive https://www.google.com/intl/en-GB_ALL/drive/ (or somewhere else) please? I still possess the original 6 CD-ROMs by MCS (including Thompson´s tablebases) of course, but Millenium Chess Sysstem (near Munich) offers no longer any support for such "legacy software".

Best wishes,
Norbert

Maybe Stefan himself can help you. Just send him an email... (available at shredder´s site).
