I'll test Fire under Windows as soon as possible (it doesn't seem to work under Wine, unfortunately). And a great thank you for your continuous efforts to give us a fully featured, quality free engine in the last few years.
Hi Boban-
Not running under Wine is disappointing...
Have you tried the 'no popcnt' executables as well?
Good timing I guess..I actually wanted to wait a few more days to release it, until the Houdini excitement faded a bit,
but someone found and shared an archive of test compiles I had temporarily placed up on chesslogik, LOL, so I had no choice but to go now.
Sorry no Haswell compile...
and it's Windows only.
Thanks Norman, Fire is a very interesting engine and is one of my favorites.

I have it running under macOS wine v2.02 , but as soon as send the command "UCI" , it no longer responds.
So of course usage GUI usage will not work under wine currently.

Is this a problem with Fire 6 running under Linux+Wine?
Or does this also happen under Windows?
Fire 6 is showing a bogus pv after reaching a mate position. (Mate after white's Ne4f6+)
