Just a thought i had the same problem years ago with a Naum engine used to cause same problem, but other engines were fine i found lowering Over clock ever so slightly just a few Mhz cured the problem worth a try.

My hardware is not overclocked. I have not problems with other engines.

I had the same problem today , with the same screenshot like you from Houdini 6pro causes an exception


Hw also not OC , was in hypertrading mode 88 threads using 86

I have windows 10pro , but do not no where to look for error register
To long working with Apple & Alzheimer light i think

Hi Walter, you can help by sending me as much information as you can about the incident.
If possible, activate the "UCI Log File" option - put in a fully qualified file name, e.g. "C:\temp\houdini.log" provided the folder "C:\temp" exists.
When a crash occurs, send the log file and every other bit of information you can gather to houdini@cruxis.be .

Tried, but while i can easily replicate the issue, it doesn't generate a logfile.
(Using Fritz 14 GUI on playchess engine room)
Seems that the issue is happening at the end of the opening book.

I can however analyse for hours without any problem

Nalimov crash don't write anything in logfile.
