Nirvanachess 2.4 has been released.

Are you going to add syzygy tablebases in the future to your chess engine.

No sorry. I don't plan on adding tablebases it is a lot of extra code for little to no gain.

Hmm I didn't notice that. It should be "Nirvanachess". I will fix this when I get back to my computer next week.

This has now been fixed. There was also a small performance improvement that I added here. The improvement was < 1% so there is no need to download beyond the naming fix.

Over several months of testing I observed an odd fact: Nirvanachess 2.4 seems to be the only 3000+ engine with a marked tendency to lose on time. Whether it's blitz or 40/40, single-core or 4CPU -- up to 3% of its games end in time forfeits.

I hope Thomas considers looking into its time management for the next release.
