Ryzen Threadripper 1950x =(~) 2 x Ryzen 7 1800x and asmfish can be run on Ryzen 7 too...
Threadripper can not use bmi2 better than Ryzen 7

1950x 1.35 million

I know there may be some drop off in efficiency for more threads but I wouldn't have thought by that much.

So 4ghz Intel and 4ghz AMD cannot be equal.

Does anyone know the maximum amount of RAM that Threadripper can use on the Asus Zeneith board? I think DRAM 4 comes in sticks of 16 GB.

Thanks I just found it. ASUS ROG ZENITH EXTREME AMD ... Support for up to 128GB of DDR4 memory. Do you know how much of that I could use for a chess engine? It seems like you can only use half of the amount. I don't understand how it works.
