I'm sorry but latest Stockfish version released on Google Play is bugged.

Only Analyse This recognize engine. Analyse This* does now display Knp/s

I usually download android builds from immortalchess website, apparently immortal is down for the moment.

Stockfish 8, 8-cores on default settings.

Stockfish start over 3K but eventually slides down to 2742 Knp/s after 2.5 minutes analysis. Warm up 2.5 min.

2742 is < then Samsung s7 edge,

As you can see there is almost NO progress concerning speed
Between the Samsung s7 edge and the Samsung s8 plus.

You must benchmark after 2 minutes 120" .

Unfortunately Droidfish don't update PV right in time to be precisely 120s.

I see. Isn't it surprising that the CPU has made absolutely no progress ?

My compilation is stockfish-250717 (arm7.pgo and armv8). This is stockfish 230717 + new green patch Connected2 + Connected3.

Code: Select all

Time of printscreen about 120s

A likely explanation is that the numbers for the older Samung device is wrong.
