Try it now. I think it should have worked, because in the 'finger' output it now starts with 't'. When I looked at the player file, the name had again been capitalized. So I think the ICS must cache it, and then write it back when you log out. So that my earlier change was ineffective and reverted because you were already logged in.

The only mail I could find from you on that day was about Polyglot, not about ICSdrone. Sending me patches for ICSdrone would have no point anyway, as I am not involved with that at all. I've never used it, never even looked at it.

But I don't see the logic. You are the one running all the rpi accounts on the Variant ICS (which is very welcome), so it is you who needs the patch, and not the rest of the world. So who cares what happens 'upstream'?
