Because you posted both positions among each other caused some confusion on my side.

no one said those 2 have arisen from the same game.

even if so, double null move for one side could explain it:)

look more carefully, Joerg, on the second position, it is black's turn, and after f6 Bh6 Rf7 nothing could be captured on f8.

and I think it was clear the given sequence of moves by me was for White to move.

and yes, black wins both.

I agree that for humans the black side is most likely easier to play,
but I don't think any side has noteable winning chances.
Yet I'm only a patzer, of course!

For example in this position -> opposite-colored bishops grants black more resistible play. It's harder for white to exploit the slight material advantage.

then try this simple rule on the framework(in order for the framework not to fully forget about me):

if opposite-coloured bishops && one side having a piece more(black in above case), give bonus {50,50} (maybe 100,100 in the case of SF) for the side with a piece more.
