HG what is the meaning of the upset column in that table?

That was a reaction to Henk saying "And the idea of losing from Skipper can be unbearable," :D

Ah yes, forgot to mention that. Although in principle, when you would be there logged in as a guest under a sensible name I could upgrade the account on the fly. (It would just cause an annoying delay in the start of the tourney if I would have to do that for many people.)
Thanks to everyone for the replies. I intend to join the next event. But I have no online tournament experience. So please bear with me for some points of doubt.

1. How to get an account

2. Time control

3. Own opening book needed? My winboard engine (nameless.exe) can load epd/pgn.

4. I hope winboard-4.4.4 will work and the following command is ok:
winboard -zp -ics -icshost winboard.nl -icshelper timeseal -fcp "nameless.exe" -fd "c:\MyChess" -autoKibitz

5. How much reserve time (beyond allowed time per move) is needed to avoid loss on time due to communication delay?
And the idea of losing from Skipper can be unbearable
It would be an achievement :) . For that to happen I shall have to successfully join the tourney.

Send me a PM with your e-mail address, and I will create an account 'Nameless'.
2. Time control
We usually play 5min + 1sec/move. The server will control this automatically.
3. Own opening book needed? My winboard engine (nameless.exe) can load epd/pgn.
That is upto you. The ICS will just prompt WinBoard for moves, and WinBoard can get them from the GUI book or from your engine, and your engine can get them anyway it wants by itself.
4. I hope winboard-4.4.4 will work and the following command is ok:
winboard -zp -ics -icshost winboard.nl -icshelper timeseal -fcp "nameless.exe" -fd "c:\MyChess" -autoKibitz
4.4.4? I am using 4.9.1! The command should work, but why use such a pre-historic version?
5. How much reserve time (beyond allowed time per move) is needed to avoid loss on time due to communication delay?
If you use timeseal as -icshelper communication delay should not be counted against your engine's time; it measures time locally and sends it to the ICS. If your engine doesn't normally forfeit when playing games under WinBoard, it would not forfeit on the ICS.

Well, 4.8.0 will do. I never got to publicly releasing a WinBoard binary of 4.9, which is mainly an XBoard improvement.
