Hello Tony,

what is the name of your chess engine?

In any case, in my tournament I do not accept clones or derivatives.
If the community will define your chess engine *original*, will participate.
Muller accepts only original programs?

Best regards
LL

Hi Tony,

I belong to the Gruppo Scacchi E Informatica --> G.S.E.I. (G:Gruppo; SEI: 6).
Our group has a regulation.
Who wants to be part of our group must accept our rules.
The regulation is very hard but it was accepted by the most of Italian chess engines.

For foreign engines I trust in the opinion of the community computer chess.
Believe me, I have nothing against the engine derivatives.
But I think it is not correct to compete in the same tournament original against derived.

I'll give you all the best for the development of your chess engine.

Best regards
LL

P.S. Some chess engines were accepted as originals by the community although they began as derivatives.
This has happened because the old code has been virtually replaced by the new code and the program has become much stronger than the original program.
