For an existing 0.245g installation, can we just replace the exe ?

Test suites work now for Deuterium thank you.

I tried disabling Deuterium's reply to stop command when not searching, which also works for previous ChessGUI, but still I need to test such change in Android OS GUI's

For testsuites, I have yet to implement some way to skip any malfunctioning engine.

I tried to create quite a large book using ICCF games, but ChessGUI crashed part way through.
Can you send me a download link so that I can reproduce the crash ?
The book shall be limited to 250000 lines maximum, though.
The file is 35mb in size (7-zipped) with roughly 35000 games.
I'm not sure how to make a file that big available.
www.hugedrive.com is free. I used it often 3 yrs ago.
You upload there, create a link and email the link.
Let me try making some smaller books first, but I will try and get that file to you soon.
I've messaged you a public dropbox link. :)

Matthias.
For now, only this one file has been updated. http://www.chess.hylogic.de/chess/ChessGUI.zip

- exclude misbehaving engines from testsuite tournament by unchecking them.
(no automatic exclusion yet)

- book creation revisited.

Do you have a sample uci engine that misbehaves after your latest changes?

No, but solving at 2sec/pos, Fire 4.0 scored less than Loop 2007 at STS (14 EPDs).

Hello Matthias,

Thanks for this!

I am stress testing the engines I have before re-trying engine import and epd testing.

It turns out that I had a number of 32 bit engines, misnamed engines, empty folders, ini files pointing to non-existent tablebase directories (which caused Winboard to stop when the engines threw up the error message), older engine versions and engines that I should have added but never got around to.

Phew.

Trying out your gui has updated my engine folder and there is still work to be done.

Once I have about fifty working engines, I will stress test your gui.

Later.
