Same request for my experimental BikJump. If you see it (still) logged in, would you be so kind?hgm wrote:Sure. If it is still logged in when we start. Make sure to use -keepAlive 3 or something like that as extra option, so the server won't log you out.

Re: On-line engine blitz tourney April
My first goal is to win from Fairy max in two minutes games. Strangely the first game Skipper plays in the morning has much larger winning chances than at the end of the day where it always loses even if I did not change anything. Maybe I should restart my computer before playing games.

Yafi, a nice FICS client, was release here:stegemma wrote:If you can keep PC turned on, then you can use Microsoft Remote Desktop for Android. It works fine.Stan Arts wrote:Cool. Nemeton will likely play.
Is there an Android app with which I can log in to the winboard.nl server and follow games away from PC?

The server ip is hardcoded, but it can be changed here:
https://github.com/mg6maciej/yafi-andro ... ction.java
If anyone has Eclipse and ADK installed he/she may try to compile a version with the winboard.nl address.

Sounds like a plan, maybe for next edition.

Re: On-line engine blitz tourney April
I've never participated in something like this. As such I don't know the details involved. For example, is the above command all that's needed to join, get paired, and play all games? What happens if your network connection dies? Etc.. Is there a good primer out there that explains how tournaments like this work?hgm wrote:winboard -zp -ics -icshost winboard.nl -icshelper timeseal -fcp ENGINE.exe -fd ENGINEFOLDER -autoKibitz
(for UCI engines, add -fUCI)
Thanks for your patience in dealing with my ignorance on the subject.

Also is it possible to simply watch this event without entering the competition?
Thanks again.

Yes, it was. (But now it is finished.) You can simply log on as guest, under any name you choose that does not belong to someone else.zd3nik wrote:Also is it possible to simply watch this event without entering the competition?

Maybe it is fun to post the fourteen moves game against Skipper.
