if this is real IOPS via USB 3.0 - should be good.yanquis1972 wrote:so you dont think thats marketing-speak yuri? because youve got me wondering if it wouldnt be a lot simpler to just get an SSD
my concern was - isn't it IOPS via SATA interface (from LSI SandForce 2281 specs)
I've installed 2.5" SSD into DVD-rack, if you have DVD slot it should be easy.

When did you start believe everything you see on you-tube. I don't happen to have one of these sticks so I can't prove this video is wrong, but I have seen bogus benches on youtube. So be advised that watching a youtube video is not a "real-world" bench mark.jpqy wrote:Check on youtube..for sure not so good this Mushkin Enhanced Ventura Ultra 120GB!

You need to check real life benches!
JP.
As I understand it the chipset on the MB plays a significant role in the maximum transfer speed attainable. So just because a particular MB won't allow the stick to achieve it's full potential isn't a reflection on the stick. I prefer benches on anything other than a MAC because the user has insufficient control over the components in the system. i.e. you are stuck with what ever components apple puts in their systems.
