You are welcome, John! There are indeed some very interesting games going on in the tests. Ok, the draw rate is high, but that was expected when 5 engines of nearly the same strength are playing each other. Let's see if Houdini will manage to break away...

I believe with you managed to get the same treatment for the participants. I think this tournament gives us a better opportunity to compare the ability of leading engines.
Many thanks for this interesting initiative. :D

Stockfish and Critter are still drawing a lot:

Hi Jouni,

you're right - that draw was accepted far too early. For the next match series I will configure the "draw button" (in the Fritz GUI options) to "late" instead of "early".

Best regards

No, unfortunately not. Fritz GUI is generating a new page for every tournament, so I have to upload them to different destinations.

Thank you very much for showing me the way how to do it! Now I got the Iframe-Page on my website:

My first impression is that there are two very powerful engines Houdini and Komodo. Both have a solid strategy (static evoluation), and this can not be completely offset by the time (depths) in contrast to tactics.
Full of holes Stockfish's strategy confirms the end of this engine.
Maybe, I can't be friendly, but let me be useful.

Here I fully agree....

It would take a radical approach from the side of Stockfish team to make a considerable improvement....
