This as exactly what I thought, also I would bet that the "private" engine vs engine books that some people seem to think are so good (usually the person who created it of course) would be useless.


By now computers are real strong. Computers never were 'fun' to play against for GM's of course.

Yet if we look back in history there have been very few well paid occasions where GM was paid to WIN.

That's partly because of the high fees that top GMs ask.

Realize their openingspreparement, especially with the silly much faster time controls that some beginners introduced for no reason, has become even more important.
