Test and report,
Matthias.
Matthias,
Just tried your Gui for the first time. Got it running OK on Vista. For some reason I cannot resize the window. I have a dual-monitor at the office and it takes up both monitors
Vista compatibility issue?

Hi Cliff,
it is not a Vista compatibility issue .
I just never thought anybody would ever want to resize it.

Will put that on to-do list.

Hi Matthias!
Thanks for that!
On a dual monitor it is pretty impressive (hard to hide in the corner while working though)!

- random openings now avoid duplicates (bugfix) !
- Swiss pairings bugfix
Do not use ChessGUI 0.207 to finish a tournament started with an earlier version !
Only ChessGUI.exe has changed.
Test and report,
Thank you for your efforts in continuous development of ChessGUI.
May I have a couple of questions?
1. What is the difference between name and nickname and original name? It seems to me that name is automatically chosen as nickname.
2. What does "init all options" do?
3. What is the "Strength" option for?
4. What happens if I don't tick "64-bit Engine" for a 64-bit engine?
Hi Gabor,
1. You can edit a nickname and use it with "Prefer Nickname".
2. Normally UCI options are sent to engine only if they differ from default.
If you think an UCI engine is not using its own default values, force it to do so with "init all options".
3. "Strength" is your estimate of how strong the engine is. The value is used in Elo calculations and Swiss pairings.
4. A 64-bit engine will still work, even if GUI is not informed that it is x64.
