Sorry this no proof...I wasn't on. Hopefully mods will delete people like you attacking others and accusing them for something they didn't do.

agreed
May i welcome you to CCC. CTF is a diff. matter i post there. :)
Even being a new member you have the right to stir the pot :)

Very best to you,

Gerold.

P.S. To bad you can't run for Mod i would surely vote for you. :)

It's on Arena page now... great advertising for ChessBase you have done if you ask me...

You mean your word is as reliable as the ChessBase software. I won't give much on it then....

C'est la vie. btw what is the arena page? Should I be worried?

This page shows you are really concerned about clones http://www.playwitharena.com/directory/clones.htm

Never seen this page before but Google is useful.

Well, on another topic, since an Arena dude's attention is here I have a couple of Arena change requests :).

1. Figure out how to account for the time used by engines precisely. People can't use Arena for fast games because of this...and its the main reason I use cutechess a lot now (though I still use Arena for anything besides fast engine-engine tests). I think I saw in some post around here an explanation on how this might be fixed, maybe by authors of cutechess in fact.

2. Change the takeback feature back, or give some option to change it back. Takeback now takes back the last move by both opponents, which makes sense for human vs. computer games or something...but a lot of us test/debug on arena and in those cases you usually want takeback to only go back one move. For example, you test your engine in a position, see its move, take it back, make a change, and try again. If takeback is 1 move, that process works great. If its 2 moves, its really annoying.

Hi,

1)Does UCI Filter help (Engines => Manage => Options) ?
2) Ummyou mean if you klick on the left arrow it takes the whole move back (black and white) ? As it doesn't do that here we have to find out why...

I see you didn't understand. Maybe you once again used the same "software/hardware" combination as in detecting the IP ?

It must be ChessBase that causes this. We at Arena use our brain in such circumstances.

:) Well we have all seen the rational 'brainy' posts that you and Conkie make here so I guess you are right.
