Most sites name the version below (1.03a Deep) as the last one.
Only a few though name this 'Arsha Mahdavi'(?), who is not the original author.
Can someone translate what the text in Spanish below means?
Any comparisons codewise and strengthwise available?
Arsha Mahdavi ha realizado unos retoques magnificos, mejorando en mucho el rendimiento del motor.
aquí está aparte su código, en la compilación se han incluido los retoques. Muchas gracias a Arsha.
Deep Smash source code (latest) Arsha Mahdavi
Una compilación de 64 bits con Intel Compiler, sin necesidad de archivos adicionales.

Arsha Mahdavi has done a very good amendements, improving a lot the performance of the engine.
Here it is separately their code, in the compilation the changes have been included.
Many thanks to Arsha.

Thanks Daniel! I guess I need some data for the performance now ;)
I know meanwhile, but I was just pondering if I should mention you as a co-author then at least in brackets for the upcoming new version of the XB/UCI chronology?
(Another possibility would be adding your initials to the last version, as done for non-author compilations)
I noticed that it searches about 2 plies deeper (with some search instablities though) then the original version, but I had no time looking through the code changes.
It seems there is no data yet available for the difference in playing strength?
(For a real comparison the changed default value of the 'NullMoveReduction' should be equalized too - 'R3' vs. 'SmashAdaptive'.)

Edit:
I guess the new XB/UCI chronology will be ready sometime next week,
at least with all entries (some data may be still missing though).
No, I'm not the co-author. I've done just a small bug fix and a few changes. Meanwhile I have no idea about performance improvements. I think R3 null move reduction is better than default adaptive scheme, but i have not tested it much.
