And it's not your goal Marek, but fans always compare brute force. :?
I compare Sting only to Stockfish 211 and I am happy.
Muchas gracias amigo! :D

I know that I will do it. All is in my head. The problem is that my dual core machine is too sloow. I need to find a sponsor (i7).

Maybe someone knows a rich men who doesn't like (afraid) an artifical intelligenc and is able help me. Such an engine can be welcome in discusions about the inteligence. 8-)

Microsoft XP version with OLD_LOCKS.

Marek, maybe you should make an effort and move the code to the new Stockfish,
Not only for performance, even modernize .
Users can compile their machines with system BYO, example.

Any chance of an exe that works without asking for dll files?

Graham.

It is possible (maybe) my idea (without tunning) can return ZERO in some non-draw positions, but I made many to drop it in next depths.
1...Rh8 2.Kg7 Kxh8 is also remis according to 6 men EGTB
3.Bxg6 remis

Thanks Graham, I will take a look at this problem. Perhaps it is a problem with my code. In my testes (32-bit) I found nothing wrong. The code of Stockfish 211 gives many problems for my ideas. :?
