Alexander Bitman (1939-2013)

Alexander Bitman, one of the authors of Kaissa chess program (first computer World champion, 1971), died on Monday after car accident in Moscow.

I remember Kaissa. It was a good program in its day.

Not only of chess but of Go too. Alexander was a great fan of this game. Professionals say, his understanding of Go strategy was at the Dan level.
