Marek,

I have installed scid 4.4 (Windows 64-bit) and configured Firenzina 2.2.2 xTreme (compile #1, 03/05/2013, from http://dgusev.cs.edinboro.edu/GameDev/C ... nzina.html), and they seem to work okay together. From GitHub, you grabbed the code of a development version of the future 2.3, not yet refined/released, work in progress.

Thanks Dimitri, but I'm using Linux. I'll try to wait for the refinements.

Hi Marek,

The new "Best games window" sounds very intersting. How can I access it? I'm running the German localized Windows version of Scid 4.4 64 Bit but haven't found it yet.

Another remark: I can store the configuration in options.dat only if I run Scid as an admin. Is there a way to avoid this by using Scid as a "non-admin"?

Thanks for your support!

Alex.

File -> Open base as tree...

(Use a base with many games.)

At the bottom left of the pane is an icon with the tooltip:
Show the best tree games list

When clicked that will show the Best Tree Games pane, whose games can be ordered.

See the Help file entry, Tree window.

What's new in 4.4 is the facility to order the games.
