How much strong will Shredder 13 be?

Post by MM »

Hello,

Perhaps Shredder 13 will be released some time in the next months after 3 years (Shredder 12 was released in the 2nd half of 2009).

How much stronger do you expect Shredder 13 than Shredder 12 at Ipon list?

Best Regards

Shall we then divide by the number we first thought of ? ;)

My thoughts are about how much time of these 3 years SMK has indeed worked on the engine. If i knew that he has spent at least the same time that he spent to build Shredder 12 i would be very optimistic about the new Shredder :-)

If the criteria is the IPON my question is if I can win something for the right result? Actually I might have a double insight in this pointless poll :-)

You could easily avoid to define ''pointless'' this poll but i won't follow you in the road you want to drive me in.

For the record i mentioned Ipon in order to have a defined standard of evaluation, because someone could say that it would depend by the book, by the ponder, by the time control, ect.

I could, that is true, but it doesn't change the fact that a poll about the sweetness of next years apples does have the same value as this one, sorry.

Deep thought.

Anyway, AFAIK you are a member and a tester of Shredder team (aren't you anymore?).
So, why don't you give a contribution telling how is the work in progress of Shredder? I mean date of release, improvement right now and expected, features of the GUI ect...
It would be appreciated.
