New Dirty 25AUG2011 is available at :

It is basically 11AUG2011 with a ponder mode bug fixed (seldom crashes)

Did you manage to fix a devious plan to tie Pradu up to his desk until he adds SMP to Dirty's next version, or did he escape in the woods again? If so, I suggest you watch again all the episodes of Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote to get some better ideas.

Pradu is working in the SMP framework but it will take some time. Meanwhile there are lot of things to do and enjoy

Hello, I am trying to install this version into Arena 3 and it is not installing. The other versions work fine. I go through the install process, click on the Dirty.exe file, and it doesn't show up in Arena's list of installed engines.

That seems odd - when I browse to add an engine, I find I can choose any .exe on my computer, chess engine or not, and it shows up in the list.

32 or 64 bit?

No problem here ...

Are you using the menu option Engines>Install New Engine... ?

If so, try to install manually using the engine manager : Engines>Manage...

I can install it both ways and have Arena 3.0 installed in three computers...

Well, 11AUG had some changes in time management. They were apparently OK, but we detected some problems lately in ponder mode. So we simply went backward to former TM.

Dirty does very well in CCRL div. 2! Congratulations. Hope to see a SMP version soon
