Redqueen v0.7.5 (ACCA 2010)

Post by bhlangonijr »

This is the Redqueen version that played in ACCA 2010.

1) Improved king safety & passed pawn evaluation;
2) Fixed backward pawn evaluation;
3) Improvement on game phase calculation;
4) Piece Square table values are now incrementally updated;
5) Minor improvement in time allocation function;
6) Refactored move selection code;

Source & linux64/win32 binaries: https://sourceforge.net/projects/redqueenchess/
v0.7.5 svn tag: https://redqueenchess.svn.sourceforge.n ... ease-0.7.5

This version is about 54 Elo points better than the previous release (0.7). At least in my tests... :-)

Hi Harun,

I have the partial game against DayDreamer. I can send you it when I get home. This game was aborted after three successive disconnections and the point was given to DayDreamer.

For me it was impossible to play on FICS yesterday. I was playing from Netherlands and the connection to the FICS server was terrible. And I had not an internet problem at the time. I wonder if someone else experienced the same problem.

Thank you Ben-Hur. You can send this game via pm.
AFAIU, first round game v Scaramanga was not played.
Possibly included due to pairing issues.
