Greetings,
Myrddin 0.83 is now officially released. The engine now plays around 2000 ELO, which is an improvement of about 75 points over the previous version released five months ago. This is also the first version to include both 64-bit and 32-bit executables.
Many thanks to all who assisted in its development, and especially to Ron Murawski, who helped me get started in 64-bit land and generously hosts Myrddin's site at:

Enjoy!

Re: Myrddin 0.83 release
Thanks very much. I'm going to run the STS at 10s per position from now on. It's just taking to long through my whole test suite. I'll send you the results.

Re: Myrddin 0.83 release
When I was testing the engine in Arena, the engine seem to restart everytime the new position is supplied.
Is there a way to make the engine not restart when it goes to the next position and so on?
Thanks, the improvement does look promising.

Thanks a lot! This seems a little stronger than ChessMind 0.70 and will be an excellent testing engine!
