I used to do this many years back but forgot the method and I have searched the net but to no avail. Their was an individual whos name stated with an S that explained it in detail but I forgot his name as well.
This method was nice as you could use CB native books with it's learning capacity and different engines.
I know it started with Tools, connect hardware but after that I draw a blank.
How do I connect using auto232 to ICC using Fritz GUI?

If you want to use *.ctg books on ICC autoplayer (for example chess partner or chess assistant) the easiest way is just use Convekta's book adapter:LJC wrote:I used to do this many years back but forgot the method and I have searched the net but to no avail. Yes, but then you are using the book in a completely blind way (as with a book.bin type of book).Yar wrote:the easiest way is just use Convekta's book adapter:

Appreciate the post Ted but my method that I used in the past you did not need use to use cables or 2 computers to hook up CB GUI to utilize the auto232 method.
