What's the rating of chess engine Doctor 3.0 that came with chessbase engines package? Can you provide me with the link to ratings list?
Also, may I know Who the author is, and what country it's from?

Re: Doctor 3.0?
Hi Werner, Thanks for the info. I don't think it could be 2300. I remember Exchess chessbase version defeating Doctor 3 many times. Exchess current version is rated around 2300's even, so that makes Doctor 3.0 a 1900 something.Werner wrote:Hi Swami, swami wrote:What's the rating of chess engine Doctor 3.0 that came with chessbase engines package? Re: Doctor 3.0?
You could be right. I just underestimated it. However, Chesswar rates engines bit lower and CCRL rate them tad higher... so I guess Doctor 3.0 must be 2150's. Just IMO ofcourse. YMMV.Andres Valverde wrote:Hi,swami wrote:Hi Werner, Thanks for the info. I don't think it could be 2300. I remember Exchess chessbase version defeating Doctor 3 many times. I don't have the data near right now, but years ago I had it in my tours, and you're not far off I think; think it was around 2200.swami wrote:You could be right. I just underestimated it. Re: Doctor 3.0?
I know this is a little off topic, but is it called Doctor or Doctor? (Doctor Who)?
Doctor? 3.0
I have always referred to the engine as Doctor Who

Re: Doctor 3.0?
I am also curious if it can be considered a free engine? On one hand it was only bundled with commercial products (AFAIK), on the other hand you did not pay for it explicitly?
