Belka in Fritz Gui

Post by fern »

So far, no problem. Clearly a very strong engine. Curious use of the time. Even in no exchange occasions can play a move in one second -with 40/one hour rhythm- and with others the engine takes 5 minutes. Something in the code tell him -or her- where a crucial moment is at stake.

Belka is just codename for various test builds of Osipov's Strelka developed by Igor Korshunov (WildCat author).

I know. But in my opinion a known engine submitted to important changes or improvements in the code is kind of new engine. Whatever be, very strong....

Strelka + WildCat..??? mmmmmmm.... and his name is ... Belka :?:  maybe it must be called Catrelka.. :) :D ...  :? well I just hope that it will play a little different from Rybka, if it has a Rybka style it will be very boring to see, just like Strelka .. the little brother

That's what some versions of Rybka do.

Yes, this can be done only by Rybka. Noone else of programers can not reach such a depths of mind as Vasik did.
take it easy :)
