I see that elapsed times, total number of searched nodes and reported speeds are not correlated. I do not know which GUI you are using... maybe Arena?

In my case, I realize that Cyclone 32-bit (I do not remember if 3.4 version, xTreme II version or both of them) reports the double of the real speed to Arena 2.0.1: for example, if I stop a short analysis at 10 seconds after 7,000,000 nodes, the reported speed is not 700 kN/s but 1.4 MN/s. It is a mistery for me... it would be great that someone will explain it. Thanks in advance.

Well done Jesus.Its arena interface.Yes its speed but i forced the engine to maximize the speed,as i done here too

Now the issue you saw is something different.In a lot of endgames you see some engines to run with fantastic speeds.This is causing because of the tablebases i suppose.Engines consume less hash in endgames and the difference in hash they use to maximize their speed.
But the question remains the same:

How i managed to speed Strelka for 1.630knodes/sec with 1 core in w32 in the middlegame and without TB in arena interface? Very Happy

You put Strelka on "high priority", something Houdini always does to beat its opponents unfairly. On "normal priority" Houdini loses to Strelka 0-2.

The priorities theory is what i said in my first thread here.But fixing the priorities means that i have an engine1 vs engine2.Here its only Strelka vs human and its Strelka turn so it evaluates the position.
