Harry's generic opening books are among the finest (some would say the finest) for engine v engine testing.
This tournament is my tribute to Harry and a way of showing my appreciation for his efforts. You'll note that I'm using the final book that Harry produced for ChessGUI. |

I will post the results and standings here after each two rounds (plus a link to the games).
If you install TLCV (Tom's Live Chess Viewer) on your computer, you can watch the games live move by move. You'll also be able to chat to others following the tournament in the chatroom there.

Hi Graham,
Nice idea but I'm not sure that Harry would have appreciated some of the participants in the tournament.
Regards,
Patrick |

I'm really not sure about that Patrick, but we shouldn't be arguing about that anyway under the circumstances.
This is just my way of recognising Harry's time consuming and thoughtful bookmaking efforts.
I exchanged many emails with Harry over the years and was deeply saddened by his passing away.
Have a nice day and I hope that all is well with you.
Graham. _________________ My email addresses:
