Hi,

i started a nice tournament with some interesting oldie engines and the new ProDeo 1.74. All playing 40moves in 120 min + 40Z/120min + Rest 1 h with Ponder On using 1 Core and max 1 GB Hash.
Playing with own books if available otherwise with the Fritz 10 Book.
Each engines play against all others 2 times....

Which engine plays for first 3 places and which will we see on the last place? What do you Think?
By the way Hiarcs 10 is playing with hypermod, GT 2 with aggresive option CT 2007 with normal option....

My Favorite are 1. Junior 10 2. Rybka 1.0 3. Fritz 10 and for the last place Nimzo 7.32....

1. Game is running at the moment Rybka 1.0 vs List 512 with live broadcast on chessbase server, room broadcast

Enjoy the games!

Regards
Andi

Hi,

Rybka 1.0 won the 1. Game vs List 512.
In the 2. Game CT 2007 vs Shredder9 after 25 moves the score is around +2,50 for CT 2007.
Very interesting position!!! First CT sacrifies rook vs Bishop and plans now to sacrifies a Knight for 2 Pawns to get a dangerous attack of the black king....

Hi Guys,

Chess Tiger 2007 won a fantastic game against Shredder 9. If Chess Tiger can continues playing like this it will play for the Oldie Master Titel.
It would be interesting to see if the other Tiger in the tournament the Gambit Tiger 2.0 Aggresive can play so exciting games...

The game of round 3 is

Fritz 10 vs ProDeo 1.74

Next Broadcast on Chessbase Server:
Round 4 starting around 10 PM (GMT+1) 19th march

Regards
Andi

Hi,

very interesting Games so far....

Game 3: Fritz 10 won against the ProDeo 1.74
Game 4: Fruit 2.1 won against Gandalf 4.32f
Game 5: Fritz 8 won against Nimzo 7.32 (a book win, Fritz +7 after book moves)
Game 6: Junior 10 won against Gandalf 6
Game 7; Hiarcs 10 vs GT 2.0 is still running...Hiarcs is 2 pawns ahead.....

really strange, that there was no draw until now.
Usually i had around 50% draws when playing with so long time controls.

Regards
