Does anybody know what are the best tests to measure the tactical strength of the chess engines? What about relevant positions to determine their strategic ability? I have a request for those who have knowledge in this field to post a pgn with the tactical and positional tests. Thank you very much!

There are several that I use, available here:

You should be aware that many chess problems available on the Internet are faulty (have multiple variant solutions, or incorrect/suboptimal posted solutions). Just for example, Reinfeld's 1001 Winning Chess Sacrifices and Combinations is full of errors.

I need to admit I did not yet study his collections in detail, but I consider those to be candidates for a bigger collection of test positions (a project in the far future ).
