Actually the ICS does record score/depth and time as comments with the games, but unfortunately the smoves command does not display those (as the prescribed output command expected by the clients is not PGN). There is a command to mail games to yourself in PGN format ('mailstored' IIRC). Those would contain this additional info.petero2 wrote:The other solutions given in this thread (examine and smoves) are also very useful, but thinking times and scores are not included in the pgn in that case.
But unfortunately, ever since I moved to the VPS, mailing from the ICS has not been working, as I could not use the smtp server of my normal internet provider anymore. To fix that has been on my to-do list for a long time, but I lack the Linux expertise to set up my own smtp server. I also have a provider-independent e-mail address, however, and it should be willing to process deposited mail from any IP address, as long as I provide the right password. Perhaps I could set up the ICS to use that one. Although I am also not sure how to do that. IIRC the ICS code came with a script that you could run as a daemon, which was using 'sendmail' on any file the ICS dumped in a certain spooler directory. (I am pretty sure there will be lots of files waiting in that directory by now...)
